IN-Home Session
In-home sessions are a cozy and convenient option where I bring the full photography experience right to you. I’ll set up everything needed in the comfort of your home, creating a relaxed and personalized environment.
To ensure the best results, clients must:
- Provide a clear space for setup
- Access to outlets (extension cords are helpful too)
Travel fees may apply for locations outside of San Marcos, TX. If space is limited, booking a hotel room is always a great backup option!
Booking Policy
To secure your session with MNL Photography, a $20 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit reserves your time slot and ensures your commitment to attend the session.
The deposit will be applied toward your total session balance.
Once the deposit is received, MNL Photography will contact you via phone or email to discuss the session details, including location and any other important information.
Session Details: You will receive the confirmed session location and details via email or text 48-24 hours before your appointment.
Payment: The remaining balance for your session is due on the day of the session.
CANCELLATION
At MNL Photography, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness and maintain our scheduling integrity, please review our cancellation and rescheduling guidelines:
Cancellations made after 5 DAYS of booking are NOT eligible for rescheduling, and the deposit will be forfeited.
If you CANCEL it MUST be within 5 DAYS after booking. If you cancel within 5 days after booking, you will be ELIGIBLE for a reschedule in this case, your deposit will be applied to the new session date.
Location and traveling
MNL Photography is proudly based in San Marcos, Texas, just south of Austin. While many sessions are conducted locally, we are delighted to travel to various locations to accommodate your needs.
Travel Fees:
- Kyle & Buda, TX: $20.00
- Austin & San Antonio, TX: $40.00
- Houston & Dallas (including surrounding areas): $75.00
Out-of-State Travel: Starting at $1,200+, depending on the destination and specific requirements.
Please note: Travel fees are determined based on distance, time, and associated expenses such as fuel and potential lodging. For destinations beyond Texas, a detailed quote will be provided upon request.
Acknowledgements & Restrictions
Clients are welcome to share their MNL Photography images on personal websites and social media platforms. However, all shared images must retain the original MNL Photography watermark/logo and must not be altered in any way—including cropping, applying filters, or editing the watermark.
When posting on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or others, please tag @MNLP.Co on Instagram or include a credit such as “Photo by MNL Photography” on Facebook in the caption. This helps protect the integrity of the work and supports the photographer’s brand.
Any unauthorized editing or use of images beyond personal sharing is prohibited without prior written consent.
PET INFORMATION
Pet Fee:
The fee is $25 per pet (dogs, cats, or farm animals) – only if your pet is well-trained and able to follow basic commands during the shoot (sit, stay, etc.). This helps ensure a smooth and safe session for everyone involved.
Please note: If the pet disrupts the shoot or prevents us from completing your session, we may pause or end the session early without a refund. Your cooperation helps us create beautiful and stress-free moments!
Rescheduling and late arrivals
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please do so within 5 days of booking your session to ensure your deposit can be applied to the new date.
Late Arrivals: Punctuality is crucial. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, a $20 late fee will be added to your session cost. Arrivals beyond this window may result in session cancellation without a refund.
Cooperation Policy
To ensure the success of your session, the Client agrees to assist and cooperate with MNL Photography in capturing the desired photographs. This includes specifying individuals or scenes to be photographed.
MNL Photography is NOT responsible for the behavior of any individuals involved in the session, except for its own personnel. If the desired outcome is compromised due to the actions or lack of cooperation from parties other than MNL Photography staff, the Photographer cannot be held accountable.
Failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation may result in missed photographs, for which MNL Photography is not liable.
CLIENT USAGE
All images provided by MNL Photography are intended for personal use only. Clients may print and share photos for personal purposes, such as displaying them at home or sharing on personal social media accounts.
Commercial use—including submitting images to contests, using them for marketing, or reproducing them for profit—is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from MNL Photography.
Clients are not permitted to alter, sell, or authorize third parties to reproduce or distribute the images. Any additional usage rights must be explicitly granted through a separate licensing agreement.
All delivered images will include the MNL Photography watermark/logo. This watermark serves as a digital signature, safeguarding the photographer's rights and helping to prevent unauthorized distribution of the work. If a digital file print release is provided, clients must adhere to the terms specified in that release.
Turnaround Time
At MNL Photography, we are committed to delivering high-quality images in a timely manner.
Our standard turnaround times are as follows:
- Portrait & Package Sessions (10–20 images): 2–3 weeks
- Event & Wedding Galleries: Up to 5-6 weeks
Please Note: During peak seasons, such as graduation and holidays, turnaround times may extend to 3–4 weeks due to increased demand.
Rush Delivery Option
For clients requiring expedited processing, we offer a Rush Delivery service. By paying a $50 rush fee, your photos will be delivered within 1 week of your session.
Studio booking
Currently, MNL Photography does not have an in-house studio—but we offer IN-HOME STUDIO SESSIONS, which means we can travel to your home as long as you have the space and a deposit; traveling fee may apply if outside the area of San Marcos, Tx! We also curated a list of recommended studios you can book independently. Please note that these studio bookings are separate from MNL Photography services, and we are not responsible for their scheduling or policies.
If you choose to book a studio session, kindly inform MNL Photography as soon as possible. This allows us to assess the location and plan accordingly. Please be aware that if the studio is located more than one hour away from San Marcos, Texas, a travel fee may apply.
